In pontoon boats a stripping basket can be very useful, as the cones er much better to minimize trouble with the shooting line than the built in "meshtables". Furthermore the edges of the stripping baskets make shure that the wind does not blow the fly line into the water. As pontoon boats come in many variations and forms there is no uneversal solution for attaching the stripping basket to the boat. In the photos below a few examples are shown. Normally the basket can be attached with the wading belt, this also makes it easy the dismount the basket and use it when leaving the boat to do some wading fishing from the shore.
